Tasks: Types and Definitions

Hello everyone,

We have been talking about tasks and exploring definitions given by various academics. If you have any extra questions and queries please post them as a comment here. I will do my best to answer them.

Here are the links to Handout Tasks 1 and Handout Tasks 2 that we are using, in case you have missed out on them. Here is the ppt on tasks that we couldn't run.

The title that I recommended for you to look at is "Task-Based Language Teaching" by David Nunan. Its a CUP publication. You will find it in the library or parts of it on the internet. Go on the following link to access it - Task-Based Language Teaching

Welcome to your blog!!

Dear student-teachers,

I have created this blog as an extra resource and medium of communication for our course 'Developing Language Skills'.

You are invited to post comments, queries or suggestions here. I will also post interesting information that I come across over here. If you come across something interesting, please send it to me via email. I will then, upload it here, under your name. I will also assign tasks for you to complete here.

All feedback is welcomed!! I hope you enjoy this experience. Let's make this blog a successful community effort!!
